Dance With Me (2024) is an interactive audio-visual installation. Two screens display a figure that stays still until an audience member moves towards the install. The figures then start to dance “with“ the viewer, using motion-detection programming to keep time.
Look Back And See a Stranger (2024) is a multi-media installation featuring an antique door sporting 60 semi-transparent panels sewn into the window frames. These panels were created by placing each panel on top of the last in an attempt to trace the ink gesture drawing. In doing so a series of images were created that slightly differ with each duplication, which were then scanned and compiled chronologically to make up a brief animation. This visual game of broken telephone is then presented inside of a window frame opposite the door to create an immersive space for the viewer to walk through.
Paint Scars (2023) is a performance piece featuring myself, in a studio reproduction of my bedroom, tattooing myself live. An endoscope and contact microphone are attached to the machine gun, projecting a live audio and video feed.
